Special Care for Special Needs – Be Understood
Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Dan OKU Mesra Petaling Jaya, Selangor “YS Charity Foundation”, a non-government organisation (NGO), established on August 2, 2016, is totally dependent on donations and fundraising from the public and social enthusiasts.
The establishment is to take care and adopt children/ disabled people with varying degrees of disabilities including Down syndrome, Spastic Paralysis, Hyperactivity Disorders, Autism, Physical Disability caused by brain and genetic disorders. The objective of YS Charity Foundation is to help them to develop their independent living skills and self-confidence by providing basic education and training activities. The centre provides free accommodation with a clean and comfortable environment to the children / disabled people and currently the centre has adopted more than 40 members from 7 to 60 years old.
As part of our CSR initiatives, we have provided financial support to YS Charity Foundation towards their daily needs / groceries (i.e. rice, chicken meat, cooking oil, milk powder, and diapers), monthly expenses of utilities and rental of the centre, medical expenses, etc.
