Pertubuhan Orang Cacat Penglihatan Malaysia (Society of Blind in Malaysia)

Our own life stories stemmed from the different fate, different path and different experiences and discoveries each of us go through, and thus how we contribute, what we receive and ways to influence. For more than 2 years, the Covid-19 pandemic continue to rage, amidst lesser intensity – claiming precious lives, leading to economic recession, posing severe challenges to all walks of life. The Persatuan kebajikan OKU Hati Berganda Selangor was established in August 2018. From here they began to have a close relationship with children and people with disabilities. They also provide free accommodation and maximum care for children from families with financial difficulties. This organization adopt range of children with mild to severe mental retardation or even bedridden, including autism, spastic paralysis, dementia, Down syndrome, learning slowness, blind children, etc.

The centre is located in Batu Caves with 21 disabled person that being handled by 6 volunteers to assist with their needs and daily care. The CSR team has conducted a site visit on 22nd May 2022 and decided to help Persatuan kebajikan OKU Hati Berganda Selangor by meeting the needs with their necessary provision and necessities such as rice, milk powder, cooking oil, canned goods alongside with adult diapers. We hope through this donation, we could lighten their daily struggle and bring more joy to the needy.
