Mikhalai School of Destiny
Discipline, Education and Self Belief – The Mikhalai School of Destiny (MSOD) believes that these 3 elements are important to every child. Fuelled by the desire to provide a basic foundation in providing proper education, Madam Mikhalai and her husband Mr Steve established MSOD, a self-supporting school that consists of multi-racial children from displaced homes with underprivileged backgrounds, broken families, single parenting sources and destitute, in 2016.
The school and children dorms are located at Segambut, Kuala Lumpur whereby it started with only 4 children and today, have grown to house 43 children between the age of 7 and 17. There are 8 qualified volunteer teachers with degree and master education backgrounds assisting in the education of the MSOD children.
A research conducted by University of Georgia shows that students who get a good night’s sleep will perform better academically. As such, after a site visit conducted by our colleagues, Pac Lease Berhad has decided to provide mattresses and pillows to MSOD. We hope that through this contribution, the children of MSOD will be able to wake up feeling energized and ready to conquer another day.
