CSR Newsletter – Rumah Victory Children Home

By Nur Faqihah (CSR Committee) and Tanny Yap (CSR Chairperson)

Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Victory Malaysia (Children’s Home), a non-government organisation (NGO), established on September 15, 2008, is totally dependent on donations and fundraising from the public and social enthusiasts. They also have other branches that provide caretaking aid such as a Drug Rehabilitation Centre and Elderly Home.

The aim of the establishment is to provide shelter for orphans, children of single parent families and marginalised youth. They also take care and adopt children that have disabilities such as Down syndrome, Hyperactivity Disorders, Autism, Physical Disability and other genetic disorders.

The objective of Rumah Victory is to develop their independent living skills and self-confidence by providing basic education and training activities. The centre provides free accommodation with a clean & comfortable environment for the children and currently the centre has adopted around 15 children ranging from 7 to 18 years old.

They also share the love and care of Christ by giving counselling sessions and teaching them the truth of the Bible so that they may find new hope in life.
As part of the CSR Team, we visited the premises on 8th April 2023, with contributions of groceries from Pac Lease Berhad, in addition to another RM3000 in financial support to sustain their caretaking operations.
